Princeton Local Scammed Out Of $68,000
The caller told the Princeton resident they were a police officer in China, police report.
PRINCETON, NJ — A Princeton local was reportedly scammed out of $68,000 recently.
On March 3 at 11:47 a.m., a Snowden Lane resident said someone called them saying they were a police officer in China.
The unknown person convinced the resident to wire to them $68,000 in cash to avoid legal action against them, Princeton Police report.
