Princeton Man Charged With DWI Following Disturbance
Another Princeton man was also charged for disorderly conduct following a number of alarming, profane actions in public view, police report.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported making multiple arrests on charges of driving while intoxicated, drug possession, fraud, disorderly conduct and more.
Princeton Police blotter:
On April 9 at 7:06 p.m.: Subsequent to a report of a verbal dispute, patrols stopped the vehicle described as leaving the scene of a disturbance in the 4500 block of Province Line Road. The driver of the vehicle, Ronald Merican, 71, of Princeton was found to be driving while intoxicated. He was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters and processed. Merican was later released with several summonses.

On April 13 at 10:41 a.m.: Olden Lane residents reported that on April 6, someone withdrew $1,900 from their joint account by cashing a forged check. The actor also reportedly used a fraudulent copy of the victims’ debit card to access the account.
On April 13 at 11:59 a.m.: Patrols were checking the area of Grover Park in response to repeated criminal activity that has been reported during overnight hours. Two juvenile males, ages 15 and 14, were located in the park and were found to be in possession of suspected marijuana under 50 grams and drug paraphernalia. They were taken into custody and later released to their parents.

On April 14 at 12:51 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for failure to maintain lane on Washington Road, the passenger, Robert Gansworth, 20, of Langhorne, Pennsylvania was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana under 50 grams and drug paraphernalia. Gansworth was placed under arrest and was additionally charged with hindering apprehension of oneself. He was transported to headquarters where he was processed and later released with summonses.
On April 14 at 12:59 p.m.: Patrols responded to the Princeton Shopping Center in the 300 block of North Harrison Streeton a request for a welfare check. Contact was made with Johnpaul Yunque, 25, of Princeton who was ultimately placed under arrest for disorderly conduct following a number of alarming, profane actions in public view. Yunque was issued a summons and released on his own recognizance.
On April 14 at 8:09 p.m.: Subsequent to a report of a verbal dispute on a Coach bus, the actor, Wayne Brown, 55, of Baltimore, Maryland was found to have an active traffic warrant out Trenton for $1,250. Brown was placed under arrest and taken to headquarters where he was processed and later released on his own recognizance.
On April 15 at 11:06 a.m.: A 300 block of North Harrison Street reported that sometime between 9:30 and 11:45 am. on April 14 someone entered their parked vehicle and stole three credit cards from inside of it. The credit cards were then used to make $17,600 worth of purchases but were declined.
On April 15 at 1 p.m.: Patrols responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of the Carnegie Lake boat launch. Patrols located the vehicle in question and it was occupied by Luis Rodriguez, 33, of Bristol, Pennsylvania who was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of suspected marijuana. Rodriguez was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters where he was processed and later released with summonses.
On April 15 at 5:57 p.m.: A 100 block of Jefferson Road resident reported that an unknown actor mailed them a fraudulent copy of a NJ driver’s license with their information on it, but with a photograph of an unknown person. An unknown actor also withdrew $1,900 from the victim’s bank account on three separate occasions before it was discovered to be fraudulent.
On April 15 at 9:56 p.m.: A 300 block of North Harrison Street resident reported that between 7 and 11:45 a.m. on April 14, someone actor entered their secured gym locker and stole $40 in cash and five credit cards from their wallet. The victim’s credit cards were then used to make purchases at Best Buy and Apple stores totaling $7,200.
On April 17 at 10:58 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for speeding on Great Road, the driver, Christina Maher, 39, of Westville was found to be a wanted person out of Gloucester County. Maher was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters where she was processed and later released after a family posted her bail.
