Princeton Man Threatens With Knife, Charged Terroristic Threats: Cops

A stolen bike and two other warrant arrests were made last week as well, according to the Princeton Police blotter.

PRINCETON, NJ — A Princeton man was arrested after police say he threatened another on Saturday.

On Feb. 24 at 8:55 a.m., a call reported a Hispanic man threatening the victim with a knife.

Following the call, Jose Rodriguez, 37, of Princeton, was placed under arrest for unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and terroristic threats.

Rodriguez was taken to police headquarters where he was processed and charged accordingly. Rodriguez was later turned over to officers from the Mercer County Correctional Center.

On Feb. 22 at 10:14 a.m.: The victim reported that someone stole his electric bicycle, valued at $1,250, while it was secured to a bicycle rack on Nassau Street.

On Feb. 23 at 2:22 p.m.: Subsequent to a call regarding a possible unwanted person from the property of Redding Circle, David Neal, 39, of Trenton was found to be an NCIC wanted person out of North Hanover Police, an NCIC wanted person by the Burlington County Sheriff’s Office, and also have a warrant issued by Willingboro Township Court in the amount of $1,200. Neal was also found to be a wanted person from the NJ State Parole Board Fugitive Apprehension Unit. Neal was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Neal was later turned over to deputies of the NJ State Parole Board Fugitive Apprehension Unit.

On Feb. 24 at 7:29 p.m.: Subsequent to a call for an unwanted person, Tyrei Wilder, 27, of Princeton, was found to have an active no bail warrant out of the Princeton Municipal Court. Wilder was also found to be wanted by the Camden County Probation Department and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office. Wilder was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Wilder was later taken to the Mercer County Correctional Center.
