Princeton Man Victim Of $20K In Credit Card Fraud: Police

Princeton police release their activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — A Princeton resident claims someone stole their identity and ran up nearly $20,000 worth of charges on their credit card without ever stealing the card itself.

The man told Princeton police someone made $19,897.55 in fraudulent charges on his credit card, all in Philadelphia and other towns in South Jersey. He said he never lost possession of his card.

Princeton police reported the incident as part of their report posted on the town’s website. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. Two other incidents were included in the most recent report.
