Princeton Photo Workshop: The New York Public Library and Bryant Park
Learn Street Photography and Architectural Photography in one afternoon!
Richard Sherman will be the instructor for Princeton Photo Workshop: The New York Public Library and Bryant Park, on Saturday, Nov. 5, 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
The New York Public Library's Beaux-Arts historic landmark building and Bryant Park, a designated scenic landmark, offer an exciting pairing of iconic architecture with a vibrant Manhattan scene. We will shoot in the building's majestic and more intimate spaces, capturing the light from its massive windows and grand chandeliers and its colorful and voluminous collections. In Bryant Park, we may find locals playing bocce or ping pong, decorative kiosks, sculpture and street scenes.
We'll begin with a discussion of composition, lighting, camera settings and learn how to capture motion and change perspectives. During the day, we will explore this historic building and go outdoors (rain or shine) to shoot the details and people enjoying the Library environs in Bryant Park. Your instructor will be with you every step of the way to answer your questions, ending the day with a review and Q&A.
