Princeton Police Department's Coat Drive Gets Underway

It runs Oct. 1-Nov. 16.

Princeton, NJ -- The Princeton Police Department’s third annual Winter Coat Drive is ongoing through Nov. 16, the department announced. It was to begin on Saturday, Oct. 1.

Princeton residents are asked to donate winter coats that are in good condition for both children and adults. The coats that are received will benefit the less fortunate in the Princeton community.

“The 2015 Coat Drive saw donations reach 2,000 pounds and we can only hope that we surpass that number in 2016,” police said in a statement. “We appreciate your anticipated participation and support.”
