Princeton Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Mercer Street Groping Incident

Police released a sketch of the suspect in the Aug. 10 groping incident on Mercer Street on Monday.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Police Department has released a sketch of the man accused of groping a female on Mercer Street on Thursday, Aug. 10.

A female told police she was walking east on the 100 block of Mercer Street at 9:10 a.m. when she heard someone approaching her from behind.

She said she turned around to see a man who was very close to her. The man then grabbed her buttocks and pushed her to the ground before fleeing in the opposite direction. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The man is described as an Hispanic man between 30 and 40 years old, standing about 5’5,”about 200 pounds with a medium or stocky build and short black or brown hair.

Police previously said he was wearing a blue T-shirt with two buttons or dots on the front near the collar.
