Princeton Police Respond to Threat at Johnson Park Elementary School
Police repsonded to a pre-recorded message of a man on the roof with a gun Tuesday morning.

Johnson Park Elementary School became the third school in Princeton to receive a threat in less than a threat Tuesday morning.
The school received a phone threat that appeared to be a pre-recorded message, stating a person was on the roof of the building with a gun around 9:46 a.m., Princeton Police said.
Police responded to the school and immediately secured the area.

Officers checked the exterior, interior, and the roof of the school and found no threat. The Johnson Park School remained in a lock down during this process.
John Witherspoon Middle School received a similar threat on May 12.

Riverside School received a similar threat on April 28.
Police continue to investigate these incidents and provide a police presence around the schools.
The increased presence initially followed an attempted luring incident on Hamilton Avenue near Chestnut Street and an incident in which an adult man grabbed a teenage girl as she walked to school.
Princeton Police will share any new information with residents as it becomes available, police said Tuesday morning.
