Princeton Public Library Announces Expanded Operation Hours
After consulting the Princeton Health Department, the library is now ready to expand its operating hours, beginning next week.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Public Library will be expanding operating hours beginning May 17, Executive Director Jennifer Podolsky announced Tuesday.
Next week onwards, the library will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday (till 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday) and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
“Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have relied on the guidance of our Health Department and followed the best practices of our peers statewide. We think this expansion of hours is in line with those guidelines and practices,” Podolsky said in a statement.

“We know not everyone is comfortable being in a public indoor space yet, so we will continue to offer our popular hold pickup service and expand our digital collections and virtual programming to fill community needs.”
There are also a few more changes coming. The library will bring back some furniture that had been removed during the beginning of the pandemic. The furniture will be placed keeping in mind social distancing guidelines.
