Princeton Reports No Injuries, Damage After 4.8 Magnitude Earthquake
A magnitude 4.8 earthquake detected with an epicenter identified seven kilometers north northeast of Whitehouse Station in New Jersey.
PRINCETON, NJ — A 4.8 magnitude earthquake has prompted Princeton Police to issue a warning to residents.
"The shaking felt throughout the area in the past few minutes appears to be an earthquake. We have no reports of injuries or damage," said police.
A magnitude 4.8 earthquake detected with an epicenter identified seven kilometers north northeast of Whitehouse Station in New Jersey, according to the United States Geological Survey, which monitors earthquakes.

Reports of buildings shaking began about 10:20 a.m. and lasted for approximately 30 seconds.
