PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Public Schools announced Tuesday that it will begin the school year fully remote. The new plan was announced at the virtual Board of Education meeting on Tuesday night that saw 400 attendees. Classes begin in September.
No in-person classes will be offered until October. That’s when the district hopes to move to the hybrid plan where a few students and staff will be brought back to school buildings.
The hybrid option is a combination of remote and in-person learning, and is scheduled to start October 12 for elementary school students, and October 19 for middle and high school students. A fully remote option is also available for students who select the plan.
