Princeton University Football Team Wraps Up Non-Conference Slate at Colgate

The Princeton University football team wraps up its non-conference schedule this weekend with a trip to Colgate.

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The Tigers are 1-1 in non-conference games this season, and 2-1 overall following last weekend’s win over Columbia to kick off conference play.

Colgate is riding a three-game winning streak after opening the season 0-2.

The Tigers are scoring 41 points per game. The defense is allowing 20.7 points per game. Colgate is scoring 20.2 points per game, and allowing 17.4.

Quarterback Quinn Epperly leads the offense with 583 net yards passing and three touchdowns, and 128 net yards rushing and seven touchdowns, according to statistics posted on goprincetontigers.com.

DiAndre Atwater is the team’s leading rusher through three games with 228 yards and a touchdown.

Will Powers has two rushing touchdowns, and Connor Kelley, Matt Costello and Seth DeValve have each caught a touchdown pass this season.

Rohan Hylton leads the defensive effort with 19 total tackles, including 11 solo tackles. Mike Zeuli has 12 solo tackles and 17 total, with three sacks.

Quarterback Jake Melville leads the offense with 585net yards passing and two touchdowns. He has 447net yards rushing and four touchdowns, according to statistics posted on gocolgateraiders.com.

James Travellin has three touchdowns on the ground through five games.

Alex Greenwalt and C.J. Stempeck have each caught a touchdown pass this year.

Chris Morgan and Kris Kent each have 39 total tackles for Colgate. Morgan has 30 solo tackles and Kent has 25. Victor Steffen has two sacks.
