Missing Princeton Woman Found In Hunterdon County: Police

Doris Young was disoriented when police pulled her over, but otherwise safe.

PRINCETON, NJ — A missing, endangered Princeton woman has been found safe in Hunterdon County, police said Wednesday night. Doris Young, 77, went missing from 83 Roper Road at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11. She is dependent on insulin to treat her diabetes, but didn't have her prescription medication on her.

An officer with the Hunterdon County Sheriff's Office pulled her over, according to Princeton police. She was confused and disoriented, but otherwise uninjured. She was subsequently taken to Hunterdon County Medical Center for a medical evaluation.

Her family has been notified and the Princeton Police thank all the concerned folks who expressed their concern and offered their assistance.
