Princeton's Masonic Lodge Approved for Apartment Units: Report
The Zoning Board approved variances following a lengthy debate last week.

Princeton, NJ -- The Masonic Lodge on MacLean Street in the Witherspoon-Jackson neighborhood will soon be home to 10 apartments, Planet Princeton reports.
The Princeton Zoning Board approved variances for studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments that range in price from $1,500 to $2,500, including two affordable units, according to the report.
The variances were passed with a 5-2 vote after a five-hour debate of the possibilities of increased density and parking issues last week, according to the report. If the building were to be torn down, it could be replaced by two or three homes.
