Downed Wires And Trees Reported Throughout Princeton: Police
BREAKING: There was also a power outage at Johnson Park School, but the students were safe, police said.

PRINCETON, NJ — Rosedale Road is now open between General Johnson Drive and Province Line Road, Princeton police said Friday afternoon as the nor'easter continued to pound New Jersey. Parents can now reach Johnson Park Elementary School on Rosedale Road from the soutwest side (Carter Road).
That was the only way in or out as of 4:30 p.m. Friday. A power outage was previously reported at the school, but the students have been safe, according to police.

- Trees and wires are down on Great Road between Cherry Valley Road and Ridgeview Road, making it impassable.
- The traffic light at Great and Stuart is out.
- Cherry Valley Road is closed to all traffic heading towards Hopewell at Provinceline Road due to numerous utility poles down across the road. It is anticipated to be a lengthy closure due to the storm. Drivers should use Route 518 as a detour to head west.
- Quaker Road is closed between Mercer Road and Quakerbridge Road (Nassau Park) due to flooding. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes and not to drive through flooded waters.
Prospect Avenue and Mount Lucas Road have both been reopened.
Drivers are advised to obey temporary stop signs that are in place. Uncontrolled intersections require a full stop. Every effort is being made to address the unsafe situations causing these delays, police said.

Additionally, the Corner House All-Star Winter Classic tournament scheduled for Friday night at Princeton Day School has been cancelled due to the weather. The organizers are working to reschedule the event.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday morning, according to the National Weather Service. A High Wind Warning is in effect from 10 a.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.
As of 6 p.m., there were over 10,000 PSE&G customers in Mercer County without power. To track outages, visit outagecenter.pseg.com. For the first time all day, JCP&L was reporting outages in Mercer County, with 393 total outages. To track outages, visit outages.firstenergycorp.com.
