Woman Killed After Being Hit By Truck On Nassau Street In Princeton: Police

The accident happened Tuesday afternoon.

PRINCETON, NJ — A 62-year-old woman was killed after she was hit by a cement truck while crossing the street at the intersection of Nassau Street and Washington Road Tuesday evening, Princeton police said.

Leslie Goodrich Rubin, of Princeton, was walking through the intersection at about 4:47 p.m. Tuesday when she was struck by a 2017 Terex Advanced cement truck, the Princeton Police Department said Tuesday night.

Ralph Allen, 60, of Tabernacle, was driving the truck west on Nassau Street, and hit Rubin when he turned onto Washington Road, according to police.

Emergency responders attempted to administer CPR to Rubin, but were unsuccessful, according to Planet Princeton.

Rubin was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. Allen didn't report any injuries. The cause of the accident remained under investigation Tuesday night.
