Road Work May Cause Delays In Princeton

There are a pair of projects taking place in Princeton on Wednesday.

PRINCETON, NJ — Snowden Lane will be closed between Franklin Avenue and Abernathy until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, Princeton police announced. The closure is due to water company work and the need to trench across the road.

Traffic will be alternated in one-lane starting at 2:30 p.m. until about 3:45 p.m. to allow for school dismissal traffic. The road will then be closed again until about 7 p.m. A detour has been posted and expect delays when traveling through the area.

Additionally, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will be repairing the storm sewer inlets on Nassau Street near Princeton University’s Firestone Library near Washington Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Jan. 24 and 25.
