Road Work Near Route 206 In Princeton Tonight: Police

PRINCETON, NJ — Elm Road will be closed to all traffic for road work Thursday night, the Princeton Police Department announced.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will replace traffic signal posts at the intersection of Elm Road and Route 206 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. During that time, Elm Road will be closed from Route 206 to Hodge Road.

Traffic will be detoured down to Mountain Avenue and back to Route 206. Drivers will also have access to local secondary roads during the three-hour closure. Drivers are advised to follow the detours, or avoid the area altogether, as delays are expected.
