Route 206 Among N.J.'s Deadliest Roads, Report Says

Route 206 is one of the 19 deadliest highways are in South Jersey, according statistics from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) and New Jersey State Police. The ranking was based on the number of deaths reported on each roadway in 2016.
The highway tied for 18th on the list of deadliest highways in the state last year, according to the list posted on nj.com. There were six deaths on Route 206 last year, and three the year prior.
Route 206 was tied with Route 322, Route 35 and Route 22. It encompasses Mercer, Atlantic, Burlington, Morris, Somerset and Sussex counties in New Jersey, and stretches into Pennsylvania.
