Several Road Projects To Impact Morning Traffic In Princeton: Police

PRINCETON, NJ — The following projects may impact the morning commute in Princeton Tuesday morning, according to police:

Mountain Ave/Great Road Intersection (7 a.m.-3 p.m.)

Roadwork will continue, full closure to be in effect job will start earlier (7am) and roadway will be closed to through traffic.

Snowden Lane (7 a.m.-4 p.m.)

Snowden Lane will be closed in sections tomorrow throughout the day, tentative closures will occur: Smoyer Park entrance to Terhune Road (Van Dyke) 7 a.m.-11 a.m.; Terhune Road (Van Dyke) to Overbrook Drive 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Avoid the area as road will be closed to through traffic

Birch/Witherspoon Street (9 a.m.-3 p.m.)

PSEG will be conducting utility work on the corner of Birch/Witherspoon Streets. Traffic will be alternated by police through the work zone. Expect delays in the area

Valley Road (8 a.m.-4 p.m.)

Tree planting will occur throughout the day, we anticipate minimal impacts to traffic but please be careful as workers will be working just off the road.
