Shed Fire In Princeton Deemed To Be 'Suspicious'

The fire that destroyed a shed behind a home on Jefferson Road on Friday has been deemed to be "suspicious in nature."

PRINCETON, NJ — A fire that destroyed a shed behind a home on the 100 block of Jefferson Road has been deemed to be suspicious in nature, Princeton police said Monday morning. The fire was reported just before 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 16.

Patrols from the police department and the Princeton Fire Department responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered the shed was engulfed in flames. Firefighters immediately extinguished the fire.

On Monday morning, police referred to the incident as possible arson, saying it was deemed to be suspicious in nature.
