Shoplifting, Drug Possession Reported In Princeton
Princeton Police charged multiple people recently including a town local for shoplifting.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported making multiple arrests including a town local.
Princeton Police blotter:
On Aug. 26 at 3:24 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the 200 block of Nassau Street, the driver, Edward McLean, 31, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was found to be driving while suspended and had an active warrant for $1,500 out of Riverton Borough. He was placed under arrest and later released with several summonses.

On Aug. 26 at 3:42 p.m.: The victim reported that their Snapchat account was hacked in attempt to scam money out of their friends.
On Aug. 26 at 4:21 p.m.: Sina Soroush, 79, of Princeton was arrested for attempting to steal $68 worth of merchandise from a business in the 100 block of Nassau Street. He was later released.

On Aug. 27 at 5:43 p.m.: A Carnahan Place resident reported that a check was fraudulently cashed from their bank account in the amount of $8,700.
On Aug. 28 at 1:59 p.m.: Patrols responded to a report of suspicious truck with trailer that had been parked for over a week. The vehicles were found to be stolen out of Monroe Township. They were turned over to Monroe Township Police detectives.
On Aug. 29 at 12:44 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on South Harrison Street, the driver, Kelvin Lewis, Jr., 27, of Bordentown was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana (under 50 grams) and drug paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest and later released on his own recognizance.
On Aug. 30 at 1:24 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop in the 200 block of Nassau Street for littering, the occupant, Justin Rodriguez-Bowers, 19, of Pennington was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana(under 50 grams) and underage possession of alcohol. He was placed under arrest and later released on his own recognizance.
On Aug. 30 at 3:12 p.m.: An Albert Way resident reported that someone opened a Verizon Wireless account in their name and purchased and Apple iPhone XS.
On Aug. 30 at 7:08 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Vandeventer Avenue for failing to maintain lamps, the driver, Darnell Nimchick, 28, of Trenton was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana (under 50 grams) as well as drug paraphernalia. Nimchick also had warrants out of Robbinsville Township totaling $750. Nimchick was placed under arrest and later transported to Mercer County Correctional Facility.
On Sept. 2 at 7:13 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Bayard Lane for speeding, the driver, Kirsten Klosinski, 20, of Burlington was found to be driving while suspended. Klosinski was also found to have two active warrants for her arrest totaling $1,000.99 out of Burlington County. Klosinki was placed under arrest and later released on her own recognizance.
On Sept. 3 at 11:48 p.m.: Patrols responded to a report of suspicious activity in a business after hours and located a man, identified as Larry Sabel, 62, of Lumberton inside the business without privilege to be there. Sabel was placed under arrest for criminal trespass and was later released with a summons.
