St. Francis Medical Center Commemorates Feast of St. Clare

Reception following Mass honors Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia

St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton recently welcomed the community to a Mass in its hospital chapel to commemorate the Feast of St. Clare. St. Clare, known for being one of the first followers of St. Francis of Assisi, was generous to the poor and opted to live a life of piety. Fr. Carmen Carlone, Pastoral Care at St. Francis, celebrated Mass.

Following Mass, a reception was held for The Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. The Sisters are members of the order of nuns who founded St. Francis Medical Center. The sisters also toured areas of the medical center and visited with staff.
