State To Pay For New School In This Mercer County District

The New Jersey School Development Authority will build a new K-5 school in Trenton to address overcrowding.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — The New Jersey School Development Authority (SDA) announced last week it has approved 16 new projects for state schools. The list includes a new K-5 school in Trenton.

The SDA said it has approved an additional 16 projects in its 2022 capital plan, which will “address critical facility needs,” including overcrowding, an issue with school in Trenton – one of the largest school districts in the state.

The projects were approved at last week’s SDA board of directors meeting.
