Statue Vandalized At Church Parking Lot In Mercer County: Police

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A statue was vandalized in the parking lot of St. David The King Church in West Windsor Thursday, police said.

This is the second incident of vandalism at the church in recent weeks. On May 17, church property was vandalized, according to the Diocese of Trenton.

West Windsor Police said detectives are working with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office to discover the identity of the perpetrators.

Residents who see anything unusual at any houses of worship are asked to call 609-799-1222 immediately and report it.

"As has been the case, officers and detectives will continue to give extra attention to all our schools and houses of worship," Chief Robert Garofalo said in a message to the community.
