Stolen Car Recovered In Princeton; Suspect Sought: Police

A car that was stolen in Haverford Township was recovered in Princeton over the weekend.

PRINCETON, NJ — A stolen car was recovered in Princeton over the weekend, and police in Haverford Township are asking for help identifying a possible suspect.

A 2004 Chevrolet Impala bearing PA registration KLB-9964 was stolen from the parking lot outside the Rusty Nail between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, according to Haverford police. The victim had left the car running outside the nightclub for about 20 minutes before it was stolen.

He had left his cell phone in the car. By pinging the phone, he learned that it was in the area of Library Place and Boudinot Street in Princeton, according to Princeton police. When police checked the area, they found the car locked and unoccupied on Library Place. The car was located at about 5:02 p.m. on Nov. 18.

The vehicle was confirmed stolen, impounded and turned over to the Haverford Police Department. As of Tuesday, the car had not been processed for latent fingerprints.
