Summer Music Series Postponed Due To Heat Wave

Palmer Square's Summer Music Series is cancelled for July 20 due to extreme heat. It will resume on Saturday, July 27.

PRINCETON, NJ — Palmer Square's Summer Music Series is cancelled for July 20 due to extreme heat. It will resume on Saturday, July 27 and continue through the end of August.

The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning in most of the state since the heat index hit 112 in New Jersey on Friday. More of the same is expected on Saturday and Sunday, and the heat index could hit as high as 116 on both days. (See Related: Timeline For Worst NJ Heat In 2019 As Index Already Hits 107)

The series runs on Saturday’s in July and August from noon to 2 p.m. except on Aug. 24. The event includes outdoor dining, tunes and summer vibes on the Green at 40 Nassau St. in Princeton.
