T-Rex Visits Princeton Library This Summer

The Princeton Library is one of 13 stops Field Station: Dinosaurs will make this summer.

PRINCETON, NJ — Field Station: Dinosaurs is bringing its world tour to the Princeton Public Library this summer. The Field Station’s talented Dinosaur Troubadour will have kids singing and dancing along to original songs about dinosaurs. The visit, scheduled for Friday, June 16, 4 p.m., will conclude with an appearance by a 15-foot Tyrannosaurus rex. The Princeton Public Library is located at 65 Witherspoon Street.

This is the sixth consecutive year Field Station: Dinosaurs has been involved with New Jersey’s summer reading program. It will visit a total of 13 libraries as part of this summer’s tour. This year, the reading program’s theme is “Build A Better World.” The program is free.

“My love of dinosaurs came from some great books about them that I read during summers as a youngster right here in New Jersey,” said Guy Gsell, Executive Producer of Field Station: Dinosaurs. “Our Dinosaur Troubadour and our incredible T-rex are on a mission to share that same excitement about reading that I felt as a child and that’s why we love being part of the summer reading program.”
