The survey is part of Princeton's new Master Plan and will take less than 10 minutes to complete
PRINCETON, NJ — The Municipality has launched an online survey asking residents and consumers to share their opinion and preferences on dining, shopping and life in Princeton.
The survey is part of Princeton’s new Master Plan that is will help inform future business and community decisions, the Municipality said.
This anonymous survey will take less than 10 minutes to complete and is intended for residents and those who visit Princeton.

The “Tell Us What You Want” Survey is prepared by Clarke Caton Hintz, the planning firm hired by Princeton.
The current survey focuses on Princeton’s economic growth, specifically where and what kind of businesses the Municipality wants to attract. It will also help in understanding how to Princeton can build and maintain a thriving retail and restaurant district “and how it can optimize both resident and visitor economic activity.”

There will also be more opportunities for public input in the future, officials said.
The confidential survey has questions asking how people use the Princeton Shopping Center, how much money they spend when out shopping, which is their favorite store and eatery, mode of transportation, the Central Business District and more.
