Theft Of $33K, Sapphire, Gold Rolex Stolen: Princeton PD Blotter

A Princeton resident lost $33,000 through fraudulent transactions, police said.

PRINCETON, NJ — This week’s Princeton police blotter has the following reports:

On Nov. 02, at 10:11 a.m. a woman told police that someone made three fraudulent balance transfer transactions using two of her credit card accounts, resulting in a monetary loss of $33,000. The Detective Bureau is investigating.

On Nov. 03 at 9:45 p.m. police received a report of an unwanted person inside the lobby. Authorities charged a Trenton resident with defiant trespass. She was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Princeton Municipal Court for $2500. The woman was taken to headquarters, processed, charged accordingly and released on her own recognizance with a new court date.

On Nov. 6, a Constitution Hill resident reported that between Oct. 1 and Nov. 5, a blue sapphire, diamond brooch, and a women's pink gold Rolex watch were stolen from a wooden filing chest she kept in her bedroom closet, police said. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
