Theft Of Identity, Criminal Attempt: Princeton Police Blotter
A resident told police that someone used their identity to unlawfully purchase $3,782.58 worth of products.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Police blotter dated Sept. 25 had the following reports:
On Sept. 18, 8:17 p.m., police were informed that three suspects entered a retail establishment on State Road and stole $254.97 worth of merchandise, then fled the area. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
On Sept. 19, 6:31 p.m. a man told police that an unknown person unlawfully entered his vehicle while it was parked on Alexander Street. Around $700 in property was stolen from the vehicle, police said.

On Sept. 21 9:25 a.m., a resident told police that an unknown person used their identity to unlawfully purchase $3,782.58 in products. There are no suspects at this time, police said.
On Sept. 22,10:53 a.m., a resident reported that an unknown person gained access to their bank account and made a fraudulent transfer to another account. The victim’s bank was able to freeze the transaction and they suffered no monetary loss, police said.

On Sept. 23, 09:59 a.m., a resident told police that an unknown person was seen on their surveillance cameras attempting to gain access to their vehicle while it was parked in front of their home on Fleming Way. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the area, police said.
