Theft, Vandalism Highlight Princeton Police Report

Princeton police release their activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — The following information was provided by the Princeton Police Department. All incidents are merely accusations. Those accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.


An orange Trek 3500 24-speed mountain bike worth $430 was stolen from the rear of a residence on the 100 block of Birch Avenue sometime between 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, and 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 26.

On June 26, it was reported that an unknown person entered a pool house on the 100 block of Constitutional Hill West and discharged a fire extinguisher, tampered with a first aid kit, removed the safety straps from a backboard and generally left the area in disarray. Estimated damages total $600.

Tamika Smalls, 30, of Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Ewing Township Municipal Court in the amount of $150 following a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker on the 200 block of Harrison Street on June 27 at 2:55 p.m. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released with a summons and a pending court date after posting bail.

Lawrence Stackhouse, 59, of Trenton, was arrested for having two active warrants issued by Ewing Township Municipal Court in the total amount of $500 following a traffic stop for a seatbelt violation on the 100 block of Witherspoon Street on June 27 at 10:45 a.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and turned over to Ewing police with a motor vehicle summons and a pending court date.

Rui Loureiro, 33, of Elizabeth, was arrested for having two active warrants issued by Manalapan Municipal Court in the total amount of $2,500 following a traffic stop for a seatbelt violation on the 100 block of Nassau Street on June 28 at 3:27 p.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and turned over to Manalapan police with a motor vehicle summons and a pending court date.
