Theft, Warrants Highlight Princeton Police Report
Princeton police release their weekly activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — A Trenton man was recently charged with possession of stolen property when police found him in possession of stolen property after he passed out while on a bus, Princeton police said Monday morning.
Princeton police responded to a call for an unresponsive man on board a New Jersey Transit bus on the 300 block of North Harrison Street at about 9:13 a.m. on July 5. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The man was identified as 33-year-old Juan Maldanado-Perez. Further investigation revealed that he was in possession of property that had been reported stolen out of Trenton earlier in the day. He was subsequently charged with possession of stolen property.

This incident was reported as part of the Princeton Police Department’s activity report Monday morning. All incidents are merely accusations. Those accused are considered innocent until proven guilty. In other incidents:
Ronald Porter, 36, of Somerville, was arrested for possession of marijuana after he was stopped for speeding on the 300 block of Elm Road on July 3 at 8:35 p.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released on summonses with a pending court date.

A bicycle was stolen from the bike rack at the Community Park Pool Complex sometime between 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on July 4. The stolen bicycle was secured to the bike rack with a cable type lock. It is described as a Puky (Unknown model), black with orange accents, 21 speed boy's mountain bicycle. It is worth about $1,000.
Peter W. Ostermiller Jr., 54, of Princeton, was found to be driving on a suspended license and with three active warrants from three different municipalities following a traffic stop for failure to properly register a commercial motor vehicle and obstructed windshield on the 200 block of Nassau Street on July 5 at 8:02 a.m. Ostermiller was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and released on bail.
Victoria Zanoni, 28, of Pennington, was found to have an active warrant for $186 out of Princeton Municipal Court following a random license plate inquiry on the 100 block of Palmer Square East on July 6 at 9:47 p.m. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released after posting bail.
Dhanraj Dalphus, 39, of Tannerville, Pa., was found to be driving on two suspended licenses, out of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and with six active warrants totaling $1,240 following a traffic stop for a loud muffler on the 100 block of River Road on July 6 at 8:44 a.m. Dalphus was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and subsequently released after receiving several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date, and after he paid his bail.
Zaquan Postell, 22, of Lawrence, was found to have an outstanding out of Camden City Municipal Court in the amount of $100 after he was stopped for speeding on the 300 block of Elm Road on July 6 at 5:25 a.m. Postell was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released on bail.
