Trenton Man Arrested On Warrants, Charged With Stealing Bike In Princeton
Melveyne Scudder was arrested on May 17.

PRINCETON, NJ — A Trenton man was arrested and charged in connection with a stolen bicycle from Princeton University last week, Princeton police said on Wednesday.
Melveyne Scudder, 41, was stopped while walking on the 400 block of Nassau Street at about 6:25 a.m. on May 17. He was arrested on active warrants out of Princeton and Trenton.
During the stop, police also discovered Scudder was a wanted person in NCIC by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested without incident and transported to police headquarters.

At the time of arrest, Scudder was in possession of a stolen bicycle from the Princeton University Campus and burglar's tools. Scudder was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and subsequently housed at Mercer County Jail on the Sheriff’s warrant.
