Tuck-Ponder, Behrend Maintain Leads in Princeton BOE Race
The two incumbents and a newcomer lead the race for three seats on Princeton Board of Education. The county updated its tally on Friday.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Board of Education incumbents, Michele Tuck-Ponder and Beth Beherend, and newcomer Jean Durbin have maintained their leads for the three open seats.
The Mercer County Clerk’s officer updated their results page late on Friday evening. Counting is still underway, with mail-in and provisional ballots yet to be tallied.
This election cycle, eight candidates were vying for three open seats on the school board.

- Michele Tuck-Ponder - 5,279
- Beth Behrend - 5,127
- Jean Durbin - 4,217
- Adam Bierman - 3,004
- Paul M Johnson - 2,864
- Karen Lemon - 2,639
- William Hare - 2,368
- Hendricks Davis - 1,445
There were 107 write in votes.
