Unofficial Primary Election Results Announced

PRINCETON, N.J. – Preliminary and unofficial results have been posted on the Mercer County Elections website, following Tuesday’s primary election. The results, last updated July 7 at 11:29 p.m., can be viewed here: https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/NJ/Mercer/104397/web.255599/#/summary

Mark Freda, the Democratic candidate for Princeton mayor, ran unopposed in Tuesday’s primary and is presumed to be the Democratic candidate for the office in November’s general election.

According to the website, all results are unofficial until the Provisional and Vote By Mail ballots are counted by the Board of Election and certified by the County Clerk. The election will be certified no later than July 24.

“As we await the official election results, I want to thank my supporters and express my gratitude to the Princeton community for participating in this very important part of our democratic process—by voting by mail or in person this week in the primary election,” said Freda.
