Warrants, Narcotics Highlight Princeton Police Report

PRINCETON, NJ — The following information was provided by Princeton Police. Incidents listed are merely accusations. Anyone accused is considered innocent until proven guilty.

Kayla Elbaridi, 26, of Princeton, was found to have a warrant for $114 out of Easthampton Municipal Court during a random license plate inquiry on the 300 block of Alexander Street on May 5 at 9:52 p.m. Elbaridi was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released after posting her bail.

Shamira Tyson, 26, of Trenton, was found to have two outstanding warrants for her arrest from Trenton Municipal Court in the amount of $3,500, and from Branchburg Municipal Court in the amount of $235 following a traffic stop for an equipment violation on the 100 block of Alexander Street on May 6 at 7:22 p.m. Tyson was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters, where she was processed. She was released on her own recognizance on the Trenton warrant and released after posting bail on the Branchburg Warrant.

Casey Morris, 25, of Trenton, was found to have active warrants out of Princeton Municipal Court for $100 and Lawrence Twp. Municipal Court for $439 following a traffic stop for an equipment violation on the 100 block of Chambers Street on May 6 at 10:01 a.m. Morris was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters where she was processed and released on her own recognizance on both warrants.

Michael Kimbal, 32, of Ewing, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop for two motor vehicle violations on the 100 block of State Road on May 6 at 3:22 a.m. Kimball was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed, charged and released with MV summonses with pending court dates.
