Washer And Dryer Stolen In Princeton Home Burglary

Princeton Police also reported making multiple arrests for driving while intoxicated, prohibited weapons, and more.

PRINCETON, NJ — Two home burglaries were reported recently in Princeton.

On Nov. 29 at 8:48 a.m.: A Hartley Ave. victim reported that an unknown suspect entered his home overnight and stole his wallet, which contained cash, credit cards and his NJ driver's license. The victim also stated that three of the stolen credit cards were used to make fraudulent purchases. Total value of loss at this time is $200.

On Nov. 17 at 8:22 a.m.: Between the hours of 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 16 and 8 a.m. on Nov. 17, someone entered the vacant residence located at 166 Wilson Rd. and stole the washer and dryer. Total estimated loss is $2,400.

On Nov. 20 at 11:23 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Wilkinson Way for failure to inspect a motor vehicle, the driver, Michelle Matthews, 25, of Trenton was found to be in possession of a stun gun, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She also had an active, $150 warrant out of Ewing Township Municipal Court. Matthews was taken to Princeton Police Department headquarters, processed, issued the appropriate complaint for prohibited weapons, possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) and outstanding warrant and motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and released on her own recognizance.

On Nov. 20 at 11:23 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Wilkinson Way for failure to inspect a motor vehicle, the front seat passenger, Ashley White, 26, of Trenton was found to be in possession of a stun gun, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She also had an active,$100 warrant out of Wildwood City Municipal Court. White was taken to headquarters, processed, issued the appropriate complaints for prohibited weapons, possession of CDS and outstanding warrant and motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and released on her own recognizance.

On Nov. 20 at 9:30 p.m.: A victim reported his wallet was stolen while he was at the YWCA, 59 Paul Robeson Place. Total monetary loss at this time is $410.

On Nov. 20 at 11:05 p.m.: Subsequent to a BOLO for a hit and run vehicle out of Lawrence Township, the vehicle’s driver, Troy Wisniewski of Easton, Pennsylvania was arrested on Woodmont Circle and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was taken to headquarters where he was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses with pending court dates and released to the custody of a sober adult.

On Nov. 18 at 2:18 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for making a prohibited right turn on red, Manuel A. Barrera, 28, of Trenton was arrested for driving while intoxicated on University Place. Barrera was transported to police headquarters for processing, issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and released to a sober adult.
