WATCH: Christie Gets Angry In Heated Exchange On Campaign Trail
The governor got into a 5-minute heated exchange with a guns rights activist during an Iowa town hall meeting (see below video).

Gov. Chris Christie’s “tell-it-like-it-is” campaign was on full display in Iowa on Sunday, with the governor taking on an activist who accused him of being soft on gun rights.
“Your point of view is dead wrong,” he told the man, who was not identified in the video (see below). “Go and look at the record.”
Christie noted that many of the gun control law were passed before he was governor. He said he’s ”not emperor or dictator, people. In my state, if you want to change these laws, elect a Republican legislature and the laws will be change.”

The activist accused him of being “muscled” by the NRA to veto gun control legislation, such as a proposal for a statewide identification system for gun owners, and a plan to decrease the capacity of gun magazines.
“What you’re obligated to do, with all due respect, is to have a few facts at your disposal,” Christie said.

The activist noted that Christie was more favorable toward gun control legislation when he first sought political office in the 1990s.
“I’ll ask you this: If you’ve not changed your mind once in 20 years, if you haven’t changed your mind once in 20 years on any issues, then I’ll tell you you’re not a breathing, thinking, living human being,” he said.
“This is the kind of garbage that people put out that have an agenda,” he said.
