The organization has signed a three-year agreement with Rider University to use the Westminster Choir College Campus located in Princeton.
PRINCETON, NJ - The Board of the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra has signed a three-year agreement with Rider University to establish a home base on its historic Westminster Choir College (WCC) campus for rehearsal, training and administrative use beginning with the 2023-2024 season, the organization announced.
The campus, located in the heart of downtown Princeton, is centrally located and offers state-of-the-art facilities that will support the organization's rapid growth and enable students to advance their skills.
The agreement expands on an earlier partnership whereby the Westminster Conservatory and GPYO extended joint opportunities for students to learn and perform music.

“The WCC campus is perfect on many levels. It is designed with musicianship and performance in mind, giving our students ample space to grow both physically and musically.”
The GPYO has been a home for hundreds of student musicians for over 60 years. The multi-year arrangement enables the orchestra to continue its illustrious 63-year mission of excellence in music education and performance for young people.
"We are proud to expand our partnership with the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra and assist the organization in expanding its mission by providing access to performance and practice spaces," said Mike Reca, Vice-President of Facilities and University Operations of Rider University.
