What's Open and What's Closed for Independence Day in Mercer County?
Check out the county's Fourth of July holiday hours.

Most Mercer County offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day, although some will remain open or have modified hours, county officials said this week.
- McDade Administration Building, 640 South Broad St.;
- Criminal Courthouse, 400 South Warren St.;
- Office of the Mercer County Clerk, 240 West State St.;
- Civil Courthouse and Office of the County Surrogate, 175 South Broad St.;
- Mercer County Connection, Route 33 at Paxson Avenue, Hamilton; and
- all branches of the Mercer County Library System.
- Trenton-Mercer Airport;
- Correction Center;
- County Sheriff’s Office; and
- Emergency Services Communications Center.
- Marina at Mercer County Park, noon to 6 p.m.;
- Tennis Center, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.;
- all four County golf courses, 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.;
- Equestrian Center, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and
- Wildlife Center, accepting patients 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Howell Living History Farm will be closed on July 4, but will be open on Saturday, July 2, when it offers evening hayrides from 5:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. When evening hayrides are offered the farm is typically closed during the day.
The Tulpehaking Nature Center will have regular Saturday hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 2, and regular Sunday hours of noon to 4 p.m. on July 3, but will be closed on July 4.
