Window Smashed, Bag Stolen From Car Parked At Turning Basin Park
A resident also lost $1,500 in a rental scam in a separate incident, Princeton Police report.
PRINCETON, NJ — A car parked at a Princeton park was recently burglarized, police report.
On Aug. 15 sometime between 9:30 and 10:15 a.m. someone shattered the front passenger side window of a 2013 Audi and took a tote bag containing several clothing items, Princeton Police said.
The Audi was parked in the parking lot of Turning Basin Park, police said.

Other Princeton Police blotter items:
On Aug. 19: A 200 block of Harrison Street resident came to police headquarters to report a theft by deception in which she was tricked into sending $1,500 to an unknown person during a rental scam.
On Aug. 19: A 300 block of Witherspoon Street resident reported that an somone used his Santander Bank business account information to steal $9,885.23. The victim also advised that he reported the fraudulent activity to Santander Bank on July 10.

On Aug. 18 at 7:39 p.m.: A victim called 9-1-1 to report he had been involved in a fight and was punched in the face by an acquaintance, named "Polo" who had already left the scene in the 100 block of Witherspoon Street. The victim had no address for "Polo" and searches of the area were negative. The victim was explained the citizen complaint signing process and reported no injuries.
On Aug. 18: A victim, walked into police headquarters and reported that on Aug. 16 between the 9:30 and 11 p.m., his bicycle lock was cut and his bicycle, a GT Men's Aggressor Bicycle, blue in color with green accents valued at $300, was stolen from the bike rack located in the Tulane West parking lot. There are no suspects at this time.
