Woman Whose Body Was Found in Mercer County Likely Murdered: Police

The unidentified woman was discovered around 9 a.m.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found Tuesday morning in Hamilton Township.

Police believe the woman was murdered, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday afternoon.

However, the cause and manner of death were pending autopsy, which was scheduled for later in the day.

The body of an unidentified woman who appears to be about 40 years old was found in a weeded area in Roebling Park off of Sewell Street around 9:10 a.m.
