Fresh Food Vouchers Available For Union County Seniors (patch.com) — Rahway seniors can get help applying for free farmers market vouchers through local senior and community centers participating in Union County’s nutrition program. Eligible residents 60 and older who meet income limits can receive limited, first-come vouchers redeemable for fresh produce at area markets through November 30. The county’s Division on Aging can provide full details and assistance.

Jazz Royalty Comes to the Hamilton Stage on June 6th (newjerseystage.com) — World-class jazz is headed to Rahway as Hamilton Stage hosts Grammy-winning bassist John Lee, Paquito D’Rivera, and the Dizzy Gillespie All Stars on June 6. City of Rahway Flies Relay for Life Flag (tapinto.net) — A Relay for Life flag is now flying over downtown Rahway, raised by Mayor Raymond Giacobbe and Councilman Joseph Gibilisco to honor the local cancer-fighting effort. Organizers are gearing up for the June 13 Relay for Life event, which supports research, survivors, caregivers, and remembrance, and they’re inviting residents to donate or volunteer.
   

4. Cranford Mayor, Westfield Residents Among Union County SHERO Honorees (patch.com) — Women connected to Rahway are among those honored with Union County’s 2026 SHERO Award, recognizing leadership and service across local communities. The countywide program highlights recipients from Rahway and neighboring towns for their civic, professional, and volunteer impact, and encourages residents to learn more or nominate future honorees through the Union County Office on Women.
