$5M Worth Of Heroin Seized In Bergen County
Connecticut man arrested after three-week long investigation yields 1.1 million decks of heroin worth $3.5 and $5 million, police said.

A Connecticut man was arrested in Teaneck Friday after authorities seized 22 kilograms of heroin, about 1.1 million decks, worth between $3.5 and $5 million, New Jersey State Police said.
Miguel Armenta-Villa, 25 of Bakersfield, Connecticut, was arrested at 620 Bryant Ave. after authorities searched and found 22 kilograms of heroin at the residence, police said. The heroin is equivalent to 1.1 million decks of heroin. A deck is considered a single dose of heroin.
“It’s definitely one of the biggest ones in the state this year,” state police Sgt. Jeff Flynn said. ”When you’re talking about 1.1 million doses, there’s a high probability that someone’s life could be saved as a result of the investigation.”
