Bears Roam Through Ramsey Saturday
The bears are not sick, injured, or aggressive, police said.

RAMSEY, NJ — Bears have been seen in the borough Saturday, but they have not been aggressive, police said.
A bear was seen near North Street and Fox Hollow Road Saturday morning, police said.
Other bears were seen in town, police said, but they were not reported as being sick, injured, or aggressive, authorities said.

Police said to contact them only if a bear is aggressive or appears injured or sick. The Ramsey Police Department phone number is 201-327-2400.

A bear cub paid a visit to a New Milford neighborhood early Saturday morning. State wildlife personnel tranquilized the bear and moved it to state-owned land in Morris County, police said.
