Is Coffee Even More Beneficial if You are Over 45?
Research has emerged showing benefits coffee and particularly for those who are over 45.

A 10-year study presented recently at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Barcelona, indicated that people who drank four cups of coffee per day, had a 64% decrease in their risk of dying from any cause.
For those who were over 45, two cups of coffee a day, lowered the risk of dying during the study period by 30%. There was no such association that was seen in younger adults.
There were about 20,000 participants in this study, who were from the Mediterranean region. This region had not been the subject of a coffee-related study, as many other regions of the world had been.

The study began in 1999, with the purpose of discovering how a decade of coffee consumption would impact health.
Two additional studies published in the Annals of Internal Medicine in 2017, also found a link between regular coffee consumption and a lower mortality risk.
