Eggshells are a "Free" Calcium Supplement

One person's junk can be another person's treasure is true when it comes to eggshells.

Eggshells contain many of the building blocks that are required to build strong bones and teeth, including calcium, protein, magnesium, selenium and strontium, along with a number of other nutrients.
