High Schoolers Opting For Bagged Lunches Wednesday
Students and teachers taking part n the Bag-a-Lunch charity initiative

Parents and students at Ramsey High School were reminded at a board of education meeting Tuesday night to bring a bagged lunch to school on Wednesday.
The school is participating in Bag-a-Lunch, a national charity movement whereby students and teachers are asked to bring a bagged lunch and donate the money they would have spent on buying a school lunch to the charity.
According to Nick Schiffano, the student government’s liaison to the board who gives an update report about what is going on at the school at every Board meeting, students are taking the bag-it option seriously, many even planning on skipping a daily stroll down Main Street during their lunch period in order to donate the money they would have spent.
