Laser Therapy Can Treat Acute & Chronic Conditions
Technology has brought us many medical innovations. One of those is laser therapy.

I have been using laser therapy for about 12 years now. I thought that I was on the "cutting edge" when I got my first therapeutic laser in 2004. It was about 20 times more powerful than the previous generation of lasers. The laser I have now is 750 times more powerful than my 2004 laser. One minute of therapy with this laser is equivalent to 12.5 hours of therapy with my old laser! This is similar to comparing dial up internet service to fiber optic internet service.
How Do Therapeutic Lasers Work?
All life on earth relies on the sun. When we are out in the sunshine, our skin produces vitamin D3 from ultraviolet light exposure. Sunshine also regulates cycles of hormonal activities. The frequencies of ultraviolet light are right above violet on the electromagnetic spectrum and therefore outside of the visual spectrum.

On the bottom end of the visual spectrum are the red and then the infrared frequencies. These frequencies, which are between 600 to 1,000 nanometers, can help to heal the body.
That healing can happen because the energy from those photons of light are picked up by cellular molecules called chromophores. That energy is then transferred to the mitochondria, which are called the powerhouses of the cell. These little furnaces burn carbohydrates or fats to produce energy. The energy that they produce is stored in a molecule called ATP. These ATP molecules are the "battery of life" that run all of the cellular processes of all life on earth.

The way that these frequencies of light help us to heal, is that the more ATP that a cell has, the more it can heal. Cells have a first priority of staying alive. Their next priority is to do their job. If they have energy left over, they then can use that energy to heal. The laser allows the cells to have more energy left over to heal, by providing those healing frequencies of light. That is one of the reasons why we feel better when we are out in the sunshine.
Our bodies also prioritize energy. That is why when you are coming down with an illness, you feel tired. Your body is using its energy to fight off the illness, so you have less energy left over to do your daily activities. This will often happen before you even feel any symptoms of an illness.
Your body also prioritizes energy acquisition. When you stop eating, your body will use blood glucose to obtain energy, then stored glycogen, then body fat, then your skin, nails, bones and organs will suffer. The last two items that you body will preserve are the heart and the brain.
We have an amazing innate intelligence that helps us to stay alive, to heal and to stay healthy. Laser therapy can work with the body's healing abilities, to accelerate the healing process, without any appreciable side effects.
Most people do suffer from a number of injuries or painful conditions at various times during their lifetime and during those times, laser therapy can be a big help to aid in their recovery.
Laser therapy is also used in veterinary medicine, with great success.
